Repairs, inspections and full replacements, each matched to what your roof actually needs.

What I do

Three Ways I Can Help Your Roof

Every job starts with a close look. From there, I point you to the option that fits the damage instead of the biggest invoice.

Leak and Shingle Repair

For trouble in one area, like a cracked shingle, a lifted tab or worn flashing around a pipe or chimney.

Full Roof Inspection

A slope by slope look with photos, useful after hail, before a home purchase or when you simply want answers.

Roof Replacement

When repairs stop holding, I strip the old layers, check the decking and lay a new roof from eave to ridge.

How I Help You Choose

Every roof is different, but these signs usually point one way or the other.

A repair usually holds when

  • The damage sits in one small area
  • Most shingles still lie flat and keep their grit
  • The decking underneath feels solid
  • The roof has not been patched many times before

Replacing makes more sense when

  • Leaks keep appearing in new spots
  • Shingles curl, crack or shed grit across every slope
  • Soft spots show up when the roof is walked
  • Patch after patch has stopped holding

Roof words

Terms You Might Hear From Me

Flashing

Thin metal strips that seal joints around chimneys, walls and vents so water runs past them.

Underlayment

The protective sheet laid over the deck before shingles go on, a second line against water.

Decking

The wooden boards that form the base of your roof and hold everything above them.

Ridge vent

An opening along the peak that lets warm, damp attic air escape and keeps shingles healthy.
